I've taught hundreds of children, teenagers and adults how to play guitar and bass in Davis for twenty years.
My goal with teaching is to make it a fun experience while having you or your child learn what you're doing, and to understand music and guitar/bass and how they work together. The logic is that once you have a handle on the big picture you can do whatever you want - whether it is reading music, writing your own music, figuring out songs by ear, or jamming with friends. Of course, the reason people want to play in the first place is to have fun and play songs! We will learn the songs that you're interested in, and then those become real life examples of the music concepts we're learning about.
